A 3D model of the earth rotating in space, using ThreeJS, React Three Fibre and Vite.
Overview
Earth was developed as a project to learn more about crafting 3D models in the web environment using ThreeJS. It features the earth rotating in space, using textures from NASA. As the earth rotates, the day and night cycle moves across the earth and you can see the lights come on in towns and cities overnight.
